Suburban Pirates

The mighty, murderous pirate band
Piled into the car
Going to loot and pillage
With many an "Aye" and "Arr!"

Led by a mighty warrior,
The band was on the move
Set to capture booty or die
The way would not be smooth

The target was clear and well defined
Framed by the midday sun
They would not return to port that noon
Until the battle was won

The car secured with "The Club"
The pirates stormed their goal
Ready to feast on the treasure gained
'Till all their bellies were full

The Food Lion never knew what hit
The band swept through the door
The pirate crew sang rowdily
As they stormed the store

A native actually helped the band
Find the choicest of the loot
The pirates laughed and taunted him
In his tight, constricting suit

They won the day quite easily
Never feeling more alive
But were brought up short when the leader asked
"Anyone got change for a five?"

None did but the cabin boy
He had saved the day!
The pirates purchased their food and drink
And went merrily on their way
